HOW TO USE OUR CHAT SYSTEM

NOTICE: There will be absolutely NO lewd, foul, suggestive, or insightful language allowed in our public chat areas or room names. Public areas can be seen by all visitors. Our public area site is invisibly monitored by moderators and if you are caught breaking this one simple rule, you will be locked-out of further visits. Please respect the rights of all our users, which may include children.
 

Upon Entering the Chat Area:

  • You will be prompted for your Name.  (No password is required)
  • You will enter 'The Lounge'. Where you go from there is up to you.
  • At the top of the Chat Screen, you will see the Room Bar. Click the Bar to change the Room you wish to enter.  (Select from menu)
  • To create a Temporary Room, click the Add button (on right)
    These rooms can be made Private / Locked, by adding a pw, when created.
 
 

Upper Panel: (Communication Display Area)

  • Name, followed by typed message will appear here. This is where ALL user messages are displayed. THIS IS A PUBLIC AREA!

 

Bottom Panel: (Your Text Entry Area)

  • Here button: Change your online status from Here to show as Busy, Away, or BRB (Be Right Back).
  • Options button: Change Look of Chat Area specifically for YOU.
    (Themes, Backgrounds, Text, Sounds, much more)
  • Save button: Save current configuration after making changes.
  • ? button: Shows FULL Help Information
  • :) button: Insert various Smilies into your message.
  • You can change text to Bold, Italics, and use various font colors.
  • All panels can be sized using your mouse to drag the edges.

 

Right Panel: (Room Controls for User Contact)

  • Click on a Name... (Popup Menu)
      - Send a Private Message. (Popup Box Communication)
      - Invite user to another Room. (Perhaps one you just created)
      - Send a File to this user. (Upload a file)
      - Ignore any messages or invitations from THIS user.
     
  • The LOCKED Icon indicates that this room is password protected and is not available for public use.
